Your First Visit
Every new patient is welcomed to our practice with an individualized comprehensive exam by our doctors, where we will discuss your past dental experiences and treatments, and strive to understand your unique goals. As we get to know you better, we can collaborate on a plan that suits your needs, and also seeks to prevent problems down the road.
Before Your Appointment
Prior to your first appointment, please set aside 20 minutes to fill out your new patient information. The link below will take you to several forms for you to complete.
New Patient Forms
At Your Appointment
Most new patients will be scheduled for a 2 hour initial visit, which will include a cleaning, a full series of radiographs (x-rays), and a comprehensive examination by the doctor. We take the time to discuss your past dental experiences, your goals, and desires.
If you require additional treatment, the doctor will provide a treatment plan with fees at your next appointment before any work begins. If your case is more complex, the doctor may wish to schedule a treatment conference with you to discuss your treatment options. Your spouse or other family members are welcome to attend this discussion.
If you have recent x-rays from another dental office, you can request these be sent to us. If they are of diagnostic quality, they may substitute for some or all of our new patient x-rays.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, we are.
Do you accept any insurance?
Many of our patients request our assistance in filling out insurance claims. We are pleased to provide this service. We do request full payment on the day services are provided. Your insurance company will be instructed to send the reimbursement check directly to you, the insured.
We have chosen not to be on any preferred provider insurance lists because we are unable to provide the quality of care you deserve using their fee schedules. We do not accept assignment of benefits. In other words, we do not accept partial payment for treatment and have the insurance reimbursement check sent to our office. The contract is between the patient and the insurance company, not between the dentist and the insurance company. For this reason, the insurance company is more responsive to the patient than to the treating dentist. Insurance payments directly to the patient are made much more promptly, generally within 2-3 weeks. If the patient makes payment by credit card, the insurance check is commonly received by the patient prior to the credit card billing cycle.
Thank you for your understanding and compliance with these payment guidelines.
What payments do you accept?
We accept cash, check, credit cards, and debit cards.
Does your office practice sedation dentistry?
We offer light sedation using nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas.
What do I do if I cannot make my appointment?
Unlike most dental offices, we schedule only one patient at a time. Therefore, we appreciate our patients making every effort to keep their appointed time.
